The 12th edition of the Vysmolení event will take place on Saturday, May 18, at the Kostelec Nad Černými Lesy Brewery. This event is the spring counterpart to the traditional autumn Vykulení, which, with its rich program focused on coopering, has become one of the leading brewing events. The event will feature wooden barrel washers, riveting machines, hoop bending machines, and other equipment in action. Additionally, you can look forward to brand-new interactive tours of The National Museum of Brewing, which we will be guiding throughout the day.

The brewery will open, and the beer tapping will begin at 11 AM. Throughout the day, you can enjoy coopering craft demonstrations, museum tours, food, beer, and music. A special tour of the brewery museum will include fully functional equipment in the brewhouse and compressor room, the operation of the steam engine and cooling compressor with expert commentary, the filling of the coolships, and a demonstration of the cooling shower apparatus. We will introduce you to the story of the industrial revolution in Czech brewing, showcasing the brewhouse, cold block, engine room, and shower apparatus. New exhibits on malting technology, the history of Jewish entrepreneurship in the Kolín region, a steam engine, air compressors, and more have been prepared for you. The tour will cover the entire brewery from barley intake to finished beer, including the malt mill.
